Sri Lanka Week 2009 organised by the Sri Lanka High Commission, Canberra, Hony Consul for Sri Lanka in Victoria and the Sri Lankan community in Melbourne is being held to showcase the diversity and the cultural heritage of Sri Lanka, the trade and investment opportunities available and to promote Sri Lanka as a destination for tourism, trade, and investment.

The Sri Lanka Week will be held at Melbourne’s famous “Water Front City –Docklands” from 30th October – 1st November 2009 and will display the wealth of resources and the opportunities that are available in this ‘Pearl of the Indian Ocean’. The events planned will showcase Sri Lanka’s excellence in various fields while displaying the allure and charm of this beautiful tropical island
